Grupo Lamosa announces investments in new high-priority ceramic meha plant in Tlaxcala
Grupo Lamosa, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Lamosa”), announces the construction of a new high-productivity ceramic tile plant in the state of Tlaxcala, Mexico.
The project involves an estimated investment of USD $200 million over the next five years, to be executed in phases and aimed at incorporating cutting-edge technology, increasing production efficiency, and strengthening market service capacity.
With this investment, Lamosa reaffirms its commitment to Mexico, while reinforcing its strategy of profitable and sustainable growth, aimed at generating value for its customers, distributors, employees, and investors. Grupo Lamosa obtains ISO 17889-1 Sustainability Certification at its Baldocer plants in Spain
Grupo Lamosa informs the market that its Baldocer plants in Spain have obtained the ISO 17889-1 certification, an international standard that evaluates the sustainability of ceramic tile products based on environmental, social, and economic criteria.
This certification acknowledges efforts in responsible production, efficient resource use, emissions reduction, and compliance with responsible labor practices, in addition to incorporating voluntary actions such as material recycling and the use of renewable energy, among others.
